Making fake stained glass pictures is fun and easy!

My daughter loves hanging pictures in the window and we have to change her window decoration on a regular basis.

This time she wanted flowers and I wanted to try out making stained glass crafts.

So let’s get started!

I like having vellum or tracing paper at home for all kinds of crafts. And it’s perfect for stained glass pictures.

I also like to make it easy on myself by printing out pictures I like and tracing them.

But of course you can also just draw your own design.

Next mix some acrylic paint in white glue. You only need a couple of drops. I chose black, but you can go with any color you want.

Trace your design with the glue and allow it to dry for a couple of hours or overnight.

Once the glue is dry the coloring fun can begin!

Your little one can use markers, paint or watercolors. It all looks amazing!

We found brightly colored markers were the easiest.

This is our result and we love it!
